Spiky and Spiny Triangular stems are edged with rather sharp dark gray double spikes all down the entire length creating an ominous appearance. Once a year the margins explode in beautiful bright yellow flowers. When full size Grandicornis can reach 6 feet in overall height and spread up to 6 feet. The sunny spot in the yard or on the urban patio will become home for Cow Horn. Plant in multiples in close proximity they make an impenetrable smaller hedge or border.
Cow's/ Rhino Horn Euphorbia

Euphorbia grandicornis or cows horn as its most well known by is a great looking upright multistemmed succulent shrub. It gets its name from the spikes looking the shape of cows’ horns. Another feature that makes this a much loved and wanted cactus is because it has a zig-zag shaped stems making great for pots and outside decor. It can grow up to 6 feet tall, however in doors it will grow much slower and smaller. Cows horn cactus becomes so big it can often collapsing under its own weight.
